Same World Same Chance believes that all humans should have access to basic health care and education. Adequate health care ensures that individuals are able to develop and contribute to their families and communities, while education changes attitudes, promotes safe and respectful behaviour and empowers individuals. Not only are education and health-care fundamental human rights, they are also key components of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.

Same World Same Chance is committed to ensuring that all stages of our project are grounded in community participation. After all, the needs and priorities of a community are best identified by the members themselves, and we know that the project's ultimate success depends on this. In this light, we have established a Zambian board whose members are involved in all decision-making aspects.

Same World Same Chance is committed to long-term results. We know that meaningful change doesn't happen overnight and requires more than just money. We aim to have a lasting impact on the Kibombomene community so that the fruits of our work will be enjoyed for generations to come. This means having a constant presence, building strong relationships, and watching the project grow.

Same World Same Chance recognizes the importance of sustainability. We are working to integrate sustainable methods such as organic farming, solar energy and compostable toilets to ensure that our project is efficient and environmentally-friendly. We have started our organic farm of Irish potatoes and are looking to expand it as well. We want the farm to eventually sustain itself and provide food for the children and staff of the high-school.
