SWSC Can Issue Charitable Tax Receipts!
Same World Same Chance works as an agent of AGO in its work in Africa. As a result, AGO can receive and receipt gifts to be used for the work of SWSC. Donations can be made online through Canada Helps at http://www.canadahelps.org/. Where is says "I want to go to" you have to type in AGO. Click on AGO, then click on donate now, then fill out the information. At the bottom of the page, were it says "Would you like to dedicate this donation?" click "YES, as a gift in honour/on behalf of" and then type in Same World Same Chance. Alternatively, cheques may be made out to AGO (Be sure to write in the memo area of the cheque that the donation is RE: SWSC) and sent to AGO c/o

This is a big step for SWSC and we are really excited to be able to offer you a tax receipt for your generous donations! If you are an international donor, you can donate through our paypall account on our website, however regrettably we are unable to issue you a tax receipt unless you pay taxes in Canada. If you have any questions, please contact Kimberly at kim@sameworldsamechance.org
We are now on twitter so don't forget to follow our progress at www.twitter.com/sameworld. Marissa will be sending updates directly from her blackberry in the village and Kimberly will be updating on the progress made in Canada!

Co-ounders Marissa Izma and Kimberly Hurley (of Stratford, Ontario, Canada) have devoted their lives to this project. Motivated by love, they believe that education is the best means to achieve positive and great change in developing countries [meet the Co-Founders].
Progress is underway - with two sets of classroom blocks already completed (five classrooms in total), our first staff house and a second staff house in the building stage! [project details].
We have created a 14-member Zambian Board that is involved in all decision-making aspects to ensure our project is built for the community by the community [meet the Zambian Board].
We feel that sustainability is an essential part of community development. That's why a range of sustainable practices are being integrated, such as collecting rain water, sourcing energy from solar panels, and installing compostable toilets [read about our principles].
Our project is supported by schools, organizations, and motivated individuals in our community who want to make a difference. We are always looking for new partnerships and connections - so get on board and participate! [details].
